What this is
Graphgan Studio is a tool for turning photos into crochet pattern charts, and for designing mosaic overlay charts. It is not a guarantee that every photo makes a great pattern. The charts it generates are a starting point for your craft — expect to refine them based on your yarn, gauge, and taste. By using the app, you agree to these terms.
Beta status
Graphgan Studio is currently in beta. Things may break. Please export and back up patterns you care about. We may add, change, or remove features without notice.
Your account
You need an account to use the app, and you must be at least 13 years old. Keep your password to yourself — you’re responsible for what happens under your account. Accounts are for one person; please don’t share a login. Tell us right away if you think someone else has access.
Your patterns are yours
You own the patterns you generate and the photos you upload. You may sell finished crochet items, share patterns, and give them as gifts. You grant us only the permission needed to run the service — storing your projects so we can show them back to you on your devices. Please don’t redistribute the app itself, claim it as your own product, or scrape / clone it.
Source photos
You’re responsible for having the right to use any photo you upload. Don’t upload photos you don’t own or have permission to use, and don’t upload anything illegal or someone else’s private images.
Fair use of the service
Please don’t try to break, overload, or gain unauthorized access to the app or other people’s accounts, and don’t use it to store or share unlawful content. We may suspend or close accounts that do.
Pricing
Graphgan Studio is free while it’s in beta. We plan to introduce a paid subscription. If we do, we’ll tell you well before it starts, you’ll be able to decide whether to subscribe, and you’ll always be able to export the patterns you’ve already made. Subscriptions will renew until you cancel, and you’ll be able to cancel at any time from your account.
Availability and warranty
Graphgan Studio is provided “as is,” without warranty of any kind. We don’t promise the app will be bug-free, always available, or that a generated chart will suit a particular project. Yarn colors shown on screen are approximations — always confirm against a physical color card before buying, and work a swatch before committing to a large project.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Graphgan Studio isn’t liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost work, or lost yarn and materials arising from your use of the app. Please keep your own exported copies of patterns that matter to you.
Ending your use
You can stop using Graphgan Studio at any time and ask us to delete your account — see the Privacy Policy. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, and we’ll give you a chance to export your patterns where we reasonably can.
Changes to these terms
We may update this page. Material changes will be reflected in the “Last updated” date above, and we’ll give notice of significant changes — especially anything about pricing.
